On 8th November 2007, University of DSM Entrpreneurship Centre (UDEC) in collaboration with Business in Development Network Foundation (BiDnF) organized the Prize Awarding Ceremony for the Business in Development Challenge (BiD) Business Plan Competition. The event was held on Movenpick Hotel and officiated by Dr. Stergomena Bamwenda, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Industries, Trade and Marketing.

The event was coordinated by Mr. Tobias Swai, A lecturer at UDSM Faculty of Commerce and Management. TPN President Mzalendo Sanctus Mtsimbe, and TPN Secretary General Mzalendo Method Bakuza, were among the invitees who attended the ceremony.

Both Dr. Bamwenda and Thobias Swai are members of TPN
